Introduction

Grab your gloves and bin bags because it's time to take action on March 3rd, for Clean Up Australia Day! This event is all about uniting as a country and taking pride in our beautiful natural landscapes by taking part in local clean up efforts. The initiative was first launched in 1989 by Ian Kiernan, an avid sailor who was shocked by the pollution he encountered while sailing around the world. Now, Clean Up Australia Day forms the country's largest community-based environmental event. So, let's bring out the best in our Aussie spirit by coming together to combat waste and keep our country pristine!
