Kids Music Day was created after the founders of Keep Music Alive non-profit were introduced to Kids Yoga Day and realized there should be a day to celebrate kids learning to play music.

Digital Celebration

Due to the global pandemic, Kids Music Day celebrations shifted to virtual platforms, highlighting the resilience of this cultural holiday.

Event Expansion

By 2021 Kids Music Day is celebrated by over 1,000 music schools, stores and organizations in the US and Canada.

Global Expansion

By 2023, Kids Music Day is celebrated by over 1,200 music schools, stores and organizations in over a dozen countries.
