On October 10th, join the world in recognizing World Homeless Day. This day was created in 2010 to raise awareness of the plight of homeless people around the world and to encourage compassion and understanding. It also calls for action on behalf of those without homes, urging governments and communities to take steps to help provide housing and assistance to those in need. World Homeless Day is a reminder that we are all part of a global community, and that we have a duty to help our fellow citizens who are experiencing homelessness.
