Brady Sahnow and Henry Otley founded National Corn Dog Day in 1992 in Corvallis, Oregon, during the first Saturday of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. After Stan Sahnow produced a miraculous box of corndogs during a basketball viewing session, the young men declared the day a holiday for corndogs, basketball, tater tots, and beer. In 2012, Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber issued a proclamation recognizing the day.
National Corn Dog Day ran on March 21. Here’s who celebrated with offers this year.
