Introduction
On July 28, we honor the brave and courageous Buffalo Soldiers on their special day, also known as Buffalo Soldiers Day. These soldiers were African American men who served in the United States Army, primarily in the western frontier after the Civil War. They played a vital role in protecting and serving our country, despite facing discrimination and challenges. The nickname "Buffalo Soldiers" was given to them by Native Americans because of their fierce fighting spirit and resemblance to the buffalo. So let's take a moment to appreciate and recognize these unsung heroes on this significant holiday!
