Introduction
On January 15, we celebrate Alpha Kappa Alpha Day – a special day to honor the oldest African American Greek-lettered sorority. Founded in 1908 at Howard University, this sorority has a rich history of empowering and uplifting women through education, leadership, and service. It's also known for its iconic pink and green colors and signature ivy leaf symbol. On this day, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha come together to reflect on their accomplishments and continue their mission of sisterhood and service. Let's show some love to this trailblazing organization on their special day!
