This day was created in 2009 to promote acceptance of baldness and to remind people that being bald or having thinning hair does not define who you are as a person. It's a chance for those with alopecia or other hair loss conditions to come together and feel empowered. So if you're bald or going bald, let this be your reminder to love yourself for who you are and join us in celebrating National Bald is Beautiful Day!
