Blah Blah Blah Day is a copyrighted novelty holiday created by Thomas and Ruth Roy of Wellcat Holidays, a Pennsylvania husband-and-wife team behind more than 80 offbeat observances. The exact year it was first published is not documented on any primary source.
A Renaissance fair, a Brad Pitt movie, and a hobby
Thomas and Ruth Roy run their novelty observances out of Lebanon and Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania, under a banner they call the Wellness Permission League. Tom Roy manages a Renaissance fair and acts on the side. The Tampa Tribune noted that he played an evangelist in the 1995 Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis film "12 Monkeys."
Inventing days started as a hobby. The couple turned it into a small catalog of "more than 80 fun and imaginative" holidays, every one copyrighted in their names.
