On February 19, we celebrate the strong and courageous women who have dedicated their lives to caring for our beloved furry friends – it's National Vet Girls ROCK Day! This day was founded in 2016 by Dr. Lisa Aumiller, a veterinarian and owner of HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service, as a way to recognize and honor the contributions of female veterinarians in the field. These amazing women not only provide medical care for animals, but also play a vital role in educating pet owners and advocating for animal welfare. So let's give a round of applause to all the vet girls out there who rock at what they do!
