Introduction
On February 19, we celebrate the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve on their special day! The U.S. Coast Guard Reserve was established in 1941 during World War II as a way to supplement the active duty forces. Since then, they have played a crucial role in protecting our coastlines and waters, responding to emergencies, and providing support to active duty personnel. Let's take this opportunity to honor and thank all those who have served or are currently serving in this important branch of our military. Happy birthday, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve!
