He had roughly 1 million subscribers in 2021, mainly from GTA machinima and Half-Life 2 fan animations. His approach to Skibidi Toilet was, by his own account, instinctual: he told Cartoon Brew he wanted to make "something unexpected and silly."

CHAPTER 01

The First 11 Seconds

On February 7, 2023, Gerasimov posted a short clip that ran 11 seconds. The viewer flies through an office-like space, past a small suited figure, and into a bathroom where a human head rockets out of a toilet bowl, lip-syncing a viral TikTok mashup of Timbaland's 2007 song "Give It to Me" and Biser King's "Dom Dom Yes Yes." The short had no plot, no title card, and no explanation.

In March 2025, Scholastic announced it had acquired world and all language rights to the Skibidi Toilet franchise from Invisible Narratives, with a publishing schedule spanning novels, graphic novels, guidebooks, and a coloring book running from Summer 2025 through 2026.
